Car Review: Cadillac Elmiraj Concept 2013




Cadillac unveiled the concept car Elmiraj, a large coupe that expresses the thrill of driving and exploring new dimensions for the continued expansion of Cadillac. The concept Elmiraj presents a new vision for the management of luxury and a wider range of top end.

"Cadillac is a brand driven by the creativity of our designers, led by Ed Welburn," said Bob Ferguson, Global Senior Vice Cadillac. "Elmiraj provides a look inside the Cadillac design studio, showing how to visualize the performance and luxury for the next generation of drivers in this segment."

Elmiraj is a modern representation of the classic format of a large coupe, becoming a pure expression of sleek, attractive rear-drive performance. With 205'' (511cm) in length, this a coupe with two doors and four seats has great presence and poise.
Memorable retrieved from the Ciel concept, Elmiraj is a statement of luxury and performance with functional character and proportion. The concept promotes the Cadillac philosophy spectacular design and performance as well as the commitment to creating light and agile car. Elmiraj is built chassis and structural elements of a project to develop vehicles that Cadillac is scheduled for future production. The architecture of this new vehicle extends the brand's commitment to the lightweight rear-drive performance, exemplified in the ATS sport sedan and the all-new 2014 CTS, which will be released this fall in the United States.


"Elmiraj promotes modern design and provocative performance Cadillac, in contrast to the craftsmanship and bespoke luxury," said Mark Adams, Cadillac design director. "Explore the high-performance driving while reflecting how we approach increase the range and the new dimensions of the philosophy of Cadillac's Art and Science".
Elmiraj is powered by a V8 4.5-liter bi turbo generates an estimated 500 horsepower. The engine technology brings new Cadillac V6 BiTurbo will be presented in the next edition 2014 CTS V Sport 420 hp, and extends the classic format of a V8 engine performance.
