Car Review: Peugeot 208 Feline 2013

The family hatchbacks segment is one of the most popular around the world competing in some of the biggest names in the automotive industry. In this fierce competition, Peugeot has always tried to be at the forefront and the new 208 puts a step ahead of the competition.

Find your ideal car

As always, the design is an extremely important as any French car brand. The new 208 has an aggressive but friendly. Its elongated headlights and new grille perfectly complement the high beltline that gives us a compact and very well done, making the car look small but muscular.
For this generation of Peugeot 200 series, the designers paid special attention to the interior, creating an enviable driving position even more expensive sports cars. The new board design allows for a reduced diameter steering wheel in a fairly low which makes maneuvering the little car and leave us the horizon level gauges for easy reading.

The center console is dominated by a touch screen that controls all the car's systems, from sound to climate and trip computer.
The seats are extremely comfortable in all four seats and while it may sound, the rear passengers have very good space and can make long trips without problems.
The engine used is the 1.6-liter four-cylinder with horsepower XX we already know, with the 5-speed manual gearbox. In the 208 the engine behaves quite well and even feels more powerful than it is, probably due to the low weight of the car. Setbacks of the case are well designed for urban use, giving us longer relationships in the lower gears.
The 208 is a great car for the city with good road. The tuning of the suspension strikes a good balance between fun and comfortable handling, always remembering that this is a family car.

Its limit behavior is predictable and the car never shown nervous. Obviously is tight, but is predictable and easy to correct. At high speeds remains well planted and steering feedback is good enough to know what is happening in the asphalt.
Although the fight is strong and has to compete with names like the Honda Fit or the VW Polo, the Peugeot 208 is a car that offers more than just convenient mobility. It is a very well designed car that will appeal to brand many people who had probably never thought about buying a Peugeot before.
