The KIA Sportage to hit the market in late 2010 is a completely new model. As the model it replaces (more information), has SUV body but is not intended for driving on rough roads because its height is low-is 17 inches by 19.5 inches from above. It is available with front-or all, always without gear.
I was pleased much. I have not found major flaws and no stress at all, I think the whole satisfactory. The only thing I missed are elements to provide greater convenience, and sliding rear seats to distribute space in the rear seats or more accessories to organize the load.
Although we rarely successful design review of the car or not, in this case I'm going to do because it's one of those head spinning people, at least during the first months of release.
As we noted in the manual KIA car, the Sportage is not ready to move beyond the asphalt beyond tracks in good condition. On the road, not as a tourist but unfolds react well in adverse conditions, is safe and comfortable.
You can choose between three versions -1.7 Diesel CRDi 117 CV and 2.0 CRDi 184 CV- 136 or gasoline and 135 hp GDi -1.6 . This latest diesel engine and more power is available from October 2011.
All variants come as standard with a gearbox six-speed manual , with the exception of 184 hp , which has an equal number of automatic relationships. This is optional on the 136 hp diesel engine . Depending on the engine , front wheel drive is ( 4x2 ) or full (4x4 ) - only CRDi 136 hp is available with both .
We have thoroughly tested the Sportage CRDi 136 hp . With this diesel engine is totally recommended : its operation is much more refined than those that carry similar models like the 2.0 TDI 140 hp of the Volkswagen Tiguan , the 2.0 TDCi 136 hp of the Ford Kuga or the 2.0 dCi 131 hp the Nissan Qashqai. The Sportage spends little fuel and , according to our measurements , gives a worse acceleration capability than its rivals although recoveries in the higher gears is better (more on driving impressions ) .
The Sportage measures 4.44 meters long , 1.85 meters wide and 1.63 meters high. Although it is longer , wider and lower than the previous model, the weight has increased slightly. Cx improved versus 0.40 -0.37 - .
The trunk has a registered capacity 564 liters , 172 liters more than the previous model , which is a very large volume . This volume includes the space where the spare wheel goes , so the actual volume , the comparable with similar models , is smaller , as we found in the Hyundai ix35 . Thus, the trunk has a volume of 465 liters. It is less than a Honda CR- V or worse SsangYong Korando somewhat higher than that of a Renault Koleos or a Nissan Qashqai (listing) .
All versions have standard stability control, a system to help the start ramp (" HAC ") and assistant for Descent (" DBC ") , and a device called " Rollover Sensor ", which activates the side and curtain airbags and pretensioners seat belts when it detects tipping.
Depending on the model , can lead keyless access and start , xenon headlights , which give no outstanding - lighting , cruise control , sunroof , navigation with color screen 7-inch , Bluetooth handsfree and voice commands or camera rear view ( trim tabs ) .

The Sportage 2011 model is the third generation of this model. The Sportage has some features in common with the prototype Kia Kue Concept that presented in early 2007. Like the Hyundai ix35, is made in the factory that Hyundai-Kia has in Zilina (Slovakia). It has a 7 year warranty.
