Car Review: Jaguar XF Price & Information

The Jaguar XF is a sedan of almost five meters long. Also available is a familiar variant ( XF SportBrake ). It is very comfortable for the suspension and how well insulated is the cabin noise. Hit the market in late 2007 and in June 2011 was updated. It is available from € 47,994.

The XF 2.2D 200 PS is available from € 47,994. It is a similar price, although slightly higher, than an Audi A6 or BMW 5 Series , but clearly higher than other sedans of similar size and power as an Opel Insignia or Renault Latitude. With gasoline or hybrid of 325-400 hp, is more expensive than a Infiniti M a BMW ActiveHybrid 5 or Lexus GS 450h and clearly more affordable than a Porsche Panamera.
All versions are rear, although the 340 hp gasoline can be purchased with optional all-wheel drive ("AWD"). Involving extra costs of about € 3,350, slightly higher consumption and performance slightly worse.

XF 2.2 Diesel 190 hp

The diesel engine gives 190 hp, 10 hp and spends somewhat less since the summer of 2012 - more than enough to travel to a fast pace by any road, going slightly noisy when accelerating at low speeds and very quiet when we are to constant speed. It has good throttle response at any speed, without delays and with a progressive power delivery and easily dispensable.
This engine is combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Sounds like a perfect marriage. The ZF transmission I found very good on all cars in which I tried and the Jaguar XF has been no exception. It is smooth and fast, do not think they take as much at fault neither qualities.
When starting from a standstill or nearly full throttle for example to quickly incorporate us a way-the answer is poor in the first meters. It gave me the feeling that is because of the gearbox as it does not appear that there is excessive slippage of the torque converter.
Jaguar XF.
